Call & Block has always had many organic downloads, but to boost its growth further we at CIAmedia started running user acquisition campaigns in April 2017. Our user growth initiatives have resulted in moving our app up to the to 100,000 - 500,000 installs tier on Google Play, and generated EUR 74,581 in revenue. For each campaign we saw a typical return on investment of around 6 months. We expect similar results in future campaigns for this app.

We invite you to join our journey, and share our success by funding user acquisition campaigns for Call & Block. We will share the revenue generated from users acquired with your funds with you for a period of 24 months. In return you will 100% of the advertising revenue generated by your funding until 120% of the invested amount has been paid out to you. Afterwards we will share the revenue with you on a 50/50 basis. We truly believe that backing Call & Block is very attractive investment opportunity.

Our app story

We acquired this app in early January 2017 after seeing its great potential in the call blocking space. Soon after, we set about updating the app, and changing the imagery. We also added the ability to create personal blacklists, ensuring that users can take control of unwanted calls.

The app complemented our strong portfolio of apps within the Communication category. Users love its smart functionality, with nearly 68% of reviewers giving it five stars. Our customer care and support team continuously monitor Google Play reviews to ensure a fast response to all our users.

This free call blocker app for Android helps users identify and block calls – all unwanted calls. The caller does not have to be in the user's contact list. Using our database of over one billion numbers, our caller ID precisely identifies the caller. Users will instantly receive detailed information about any call they receive and will be able to use the call blocker function to protect their phone immediately.

Business model

Call & Block is a free app which generates revenue with the Calldorado SDK by displaying mobile advertising. The Calldorado SDK is the best performing monetization model, and has already earned us EUR 74,581 in revenue. As a result of the number of calls users make every day we have seen a significant jump in the amount of ad impressions.

App ecosystem

More than 29 billion robocalls were made in the US alone in 2017. And the numbers are rising. For many Android users, spam calls have become a bothersome part of life and they are looking for easy solutions to put a stop to it. The genre is so popular that there are currently 24,553 call blocker apps in communication category on Google Play. The number of apps in this category indicate the user-desire for such a service. With sufficient backing Call & Block can soon make it to the top of the list, providing users with a valuable service.
